Five services, one team, and no gap between the people who draw your project and the people who build it.
Service 01
Residential Rendering
Residential rendering covers all types of coating and plastering for homes. The emphasis is on two things at once: making the building look sharp, and making it strong enough to face what Adelaide sends at it — driving rain, dry summer heat, dust, and salt spray if you’re near the coast.
That second part decides whether a render looks good for two years or twenty. We check the substrate and the exposure before specifying anything, because the wrong system on the right wall fails just as fast as the right system on the wrong one.
- Colour and texture matched to existing work
- Concept and schematic design
- Permitting and approvals
- New homes, extensions and granny flats
Service 02
Commercial Rendering
We handle large and small commercial rendering jobs quickly and affordably. Whether you need a building completely rendered or simply repaired, we’re the ones for the project.
If you’re on a deadline, we can meet it. We work around trading hours, coordinate with the other trades on site, and stage the job so your doors stay open where that’s possible. Our work is guaranteed.
- Full facade rendering and recladding
- Staged delivery around trading hours
- Repair, patching and make-good
- Coordination with builders and other trades
Service 03
Industrial Rendering
Industrial sites put demands on a wall that a house never will — impact, wash-down, chemical exposure, and constant temperature movement. A domestic-grade system on an industrial wall fails early and expensively.
Our team will help you choose the right material for the project based on how the building is actually used, not on what’s cheapest to apply. We’d rather quote the correct system once than come back and redo it.
- Material specification for site conditions
- High-durability and impact-resistant systems
- Large-area application
- Works scheduled around operations
Service 04
Hebel & EPS Installation
Apex Renderworks SA are Hebel installers specialising in Hebel panel and block installation, with five years in the South Australian building industry behind us. We install EPS foam systems alongside it, because the two often meet on the same job and the detailing where they join is where problems start.
We work firm, with care and precision. Panels are set out properly, joints are treated the way the manufacturer specifies, and the render system that goes over the top is chosen for the panel rather than borrowed from a brick job. EPS brings a wide colour and texture range, real insulation value through an Adelaide summer, and because the render is pre-blended the finish stays consistent from batch to batch instead of varying with whoever mixed it.
- Hebel PowerPanel and block installation
- PowerFloor and party wall systems
- EPS foam cladding, mouldings, sills and profiles
- Jointing, sealing and render systems specified for the panel
Service 05
Exterior Painting
We provide top-quality external wall painting, whether it follows our own render work or refreshes an existing finish.
Preparation is included, not assumed. Surfaces are cleaned, repaired and primed before a brush is lifted — which is the difference between a repaint that lasts a decade and one that flakes in three summers. All our products are from Dulux, so the colour range is one you can view before you commit and the warranty is one you can look up. Our job is guaranteed.
- Full exterior repaints
- Painting over new render and texture coat
- Preparation, repair and priming
- Dulux products throughout
Service 04
Acrylic Rendering & Texture Coating
We have an experienced team in rendering and texture coating, followed by painting — on blueboard, Hebel, EPS foam and brick.
All our products are from Dulux, which means a colour range you can view before you commit and a manufacturer warranty you can actually look up. The texture finish you choose changes how the wall ages as much as how it looks on day one, so we’ll walk you through the options on site rather than handing you a sample card.
- Acrylic render over multiple substrates
- Full range of texture finishes
- Painting to complete the system
- Dulux products throughout

Engagement
Three Ways to Work With Us
1
Supply & Apply
We specify, supply and apply the full system. Most home jobs run this way, and you deal with one team from quote to clean-up. Custom quote.
2
Builder Contract
We work to your program and specification as a subcontractor. Staged invoicing, deadline commitments, and coordination with your other trades. Custom quote.
3
Repair & Refresh
Assessment of failed or cracked render, repair, re-coat and repaint. Often far cheaper than a full re-render, and we’ll tell you honestly which one you need. Custom quote.
Questions
Answers Before You Ask
It depends on the substrate, the height and access, how much preparation is needed, and the finish you choose. That’s why every quote is done on site rather than over the phone — and why it’s free and in writing.
A standard home is usually a few days to a couple of weeks depending on size, coats and weather. Render needs curing time between coats and we won’t rush that. You’ll get dated stages with your quote.
Usually yes. Brick, blueboard, Hebel, EPS foam, steel frame, thermalite and breezeblock can all take a render system — the right one differs for each. Painted surfaces need checking first, because the render is only as sound as what’s beneath it.
es, with scheduling around it. Render can’t be applied in rain or extreme cold, so winter jobs carry more weather flexibility in the program. We’ll be upfront about that at quote stage.
Yes. Our workmanship is guaranteed for 1 year, and the Dulux and Hebel products we use carry their own manufacturer warranties.
Adelaide and greater South Australia. If you’re outside that, call and ask — travel is quoted separately and transparently.
Yes — licence BLD 351893, and we carry public liability insurance. Happy to send both through before you commit to anything.
